While driving 2014 Chrysler 300 you will feel what American cars makes so great. 2014 Chrysler 300 – Body Styles and Trim Levels
The 2014 Chrysler 300 is a full-size sedan available in six primary trim levels: 300, 300S, 300C, 300C John Varvatos Luxury Edition, SRT8 Core and SRT8.
Standard model – 300, is loaded with many luxuries, including 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, heated mirrors, keyless entry/ignition, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, cruise control, automatic climate control, an eight-way power driver seat, heated front seats, leather upholstery, an 8.4-inch central touchscreen interface, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player, iPod/USB connectivity and satellite radio.
Models 300S and 300C add horsepower, 20 and 18-inch alloy wheels and a rearview camera. 2014 Chrysler 300s is oacket with a “touring” sport suspension, a Sport mode and shift paddles for the transmission, foglights, piano-black cabin accents and a 10-speaker Beats by Dr. Dre sound system, while 300C comes with LED cabin lighting, a power tilt-and-telescoping heated steering wheel, a power rear sunshade and a navigation system.
The 2014 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Luxury Edition tacks on niceties like “platinum chrome” exterior trim, while John Varvatos Limited Edition will be adding “titanium chrome” exterior trim, Varvatos logos on the seats and an exclusive gauge cluster and clock featuring the Varvatos name. This model will be offered late in the 2014.
SRT8 Core and SRT8 shifts gears to high-performance mode, special 20-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, front and rear parking sensors sport seats with leather/faux-suede upholstery and most of the luxury features from the 300C.
2014 Chrysler 300 – Performance and powertrains
All 2014 Chrysler 300 trims but the SRT8 come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 292 horsepower and 352 Nm of torque. The 300S V6 gets a sport-tuned exhaust. Standard transmission is eight-speed automatic, as is rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional.
2014 Chrysler 300 accelerate 0-100 km/h in 6.9 sec, while it came to a stop from 100 km/h in 36 metres, 300C came in 40m and SRT8 in 34m. All but the base 300 and SRT8 can be packed woth a 5.7-liter V8 engine, for 363 hp and 533 Nm of torque.
2014 Chrysler 300 – Safety
Every 2014 Chrysler 300 comes with antilock brakes, traction and stability control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, a driver knee airbag and active front head restraints. A rearview camera is standard on except in the base 300 model. In government crash tests, the 2014 Chrysler 300 earned top five out of five stars for both overall frontal-impact protection and overall side-impact protection.
