2015 Audi SQ5

This year we had a chance to see a new car in Audi lineup. High-performance version of the Q5 is ready for revisit and launch as 2015 Audi SQ5. German carmaker won’t make many changes, so compact, five-passenger luxury crossover will came refreshed, rather than redesigned model. As relative to Q5, it has similar, but not the same lines, and engine with boosted performance. It won’t be drastic difference, but these drivers with superfine driving demand will be pleased.

The 2015 Audi SQ5 won’t change a lot from first car that debuted as 2014 year model. Slight modifications on design are possible. Few color schemes and details, with revisited headlights could be done. However, 2015 SQ5 will carry over most things from its predecessor. It is expected that trim levels and optional packages won’t be changed for 2015 SQ5. Audi offered Premium Plus and Prestige levels for 2014 year model. First will offer 20-inch wheels and improved brakes, compared to its sibling Q5. Xenon headlights and LED run lights are standard. Many other luxury features will be included with Premium Plus package. Other, Prestige trim level will offer prestigious equipment, including Bang & Olufsen sound system, panoramic sunroof, Audi MMI Navigation Plus package with parking sensors and many infotainment systems.

Engine is a part of the 2015 Audi SQ5 which differs mostly from Q5 model. There won’t be changes comparing to current SQ5, so new crossover will have supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine under the hood. It is the same option as you can find in regular Q5, but with higher outcome. With 354 hp, it is 82 ponies more than the car it is based on. The 2015 SQ5 will have 346 pound-feet of torque. Drivetrain is mated to a 8-speed automatic gearbox which spreads power to all wheels. Acceleration to 60 mph will be probably 5 seconds, which is better for almost the second from Q5. However, estimated EPA fuel economy for 2015 SQ5 will be the same as for current model, 16 mpg in city and 23 mpg for highway drive.
