2015 Audi TTS
Audi has presented all its TT lineup at international car show in Geneva. Except standard TT model, we could see unveiling of their performance variations – TTS and TT-RS. Main difference between these three is output and performance numbers. Other is price, because all enthusiasts will have to spend more if they want to get 2015 TTS or 2015 TT-RS models.
2015 Audi TTS redesign
All TT models and variations will have same or styling with very small detail differences. Obvious is influence of the first generation of TT, which was launched more than 15 years ago. Now, we have cars which have similar outlook and curves as their pioneer. What is different on the front side is fascia. Other differences could be seen on the angular headlights and a chiseled hexagonal radiator grille. These two things are becoming standard with new Audi vehicles. We suppose it is a platform on which will Audi base their production of the cars in following years. What is main change, and most obvious probably is that 2015 Audi TTS won’t have standard four-ring emblem on the grille. It will be moved to the hood. LED lights technology will be used on all three vehicles and 2015 TTS will be offered with Audi’s Matrix beam technology.
Inside the vehicle we won’t find radical changes. Audi will keep cabin look, with some updates and upgrades. Audi TTS 2015 will have new sound system, Bang & Olufsen, with 14-channel amplifier, 12 speakers and door woofers illuminated by an adjustable accent light. Large touchscreen display will be positioned into instrument cluster, and from there it will be possible to control all infotainment features available for 2015 Audi TTS.
2015 Audi TTS engine
Audi TT for 2015 will be a car with excellent numbers and performance. All TT models will be packed with 2.0-l turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Base model, 2015 TT will have output of 227 hp. Higher end TTS will be capable of producing 306 horses and top of the class TT-RS will go up to 380 hp.
Transmission system for the 2015 Audi TTS will be six-speed manual or dual-clutch DSG gearboxes which will distribute power to front or all four wheels. The 2015 Audi TTS will be sold in Europe and US, probably from this fall, and by then we can expect convertible version of the 2015 TTS.
