2015 BMW 5 series Gran Turismo
It is still unclear if 2015 BMW 5 series Gran Turismo will be hatchback, crossover or spacious sedan. All previous models has elements of all these segments, so 2015 BMW 5 series GT will continue to amaze and wonder all fans and experts. Basically, it is crossover, but very versatile and spacious. There will be two kinds of 2015 BMW 5 series Gran Turismo available, under the names 535i and 550i. These will be also engines placed inside the cars. However, 2015 BMW 5 series GT will use 7 series wheelbase, as well as their predecessors. It continues to be versatile SUV, with advantages of hatchbacks and some sedan parts. On the rear end, we will see deck lid. Anyway, inside, seats are lifted, which is characteristic of crossovers. You will get 2015 BMW 5 series GT as rear-wheel drive SUV, but also all-wheel drive system will be available. Panoramic roof add stylish look and many more tech and visual upgrades are available with different packages which could be purchased.
2015 BMW 5 series Gran Turismo engines
As it was already mentioned, 2015 BMW 5 series GT will come in 535i and 550i trim levels, which are marks of engines used for the vehicle. First one, 535i uses turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine which delivers around 300, horsepower and lb-ft of torque respectively. Stronger one, 550i has higher output. This one will delivers 445 hp to 2015 BMW 5 series Gran Turismo from 4.4-l turbocharged V8 powertrain. Around 480 lb-ft of torque comes along with it.
Power will be sent to rear wheels at base models, while German carmaker will offer its xDrive AWD system as optional. Fuel economy will be almost unchanged with 19/28 mpg for city/highway drive. Of course, models equipped with xDrive system will use more fuel and this rate is going to be smaller for few miles-per-gallon.
