Many Visual changes are planned for the new 2015 BMW 7 Series. There are new grille, new headlights, raked windscreen, modern dual exhaust system, 20 – inch alloy wheels etc. New model will be based on a new platform called G11. This platform is made of extra light materials such as carbon fiber and aluminum, so new total weight will be reduced over 200 kilos. The interior of 2015 BMW 7 Series will be rich, spacious and elegant. Beside comfortable leather seats we expect many features which will make this model able to compete new Mercedes E-class. New model will feature hi-tech stuff such as WIFI, 3D maps, traffic warning system, self parking system, voice controls, real time traffic and weather updates etc.
2015 BMW 7 Series engine
The 2015 BMW 7 Series will have couple of engines. Top offer will probably be a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine which will produce 475 hp and 480 lb-ft of max torque. There is also speculation the new 7 series will also have a four-cylinder petrol engine as an option. This engine will have around 260 hp. Also engine offer will include some V6 variant and also diesel versions. There are also rumors that BMW will also introduce a hybrid version of this model which will combine some of these petrol engines with an electric motor. This system is developed together with Japanese automaker Toyota, so we can say the BMW uses Toyota’s plug-in technologies in this models. All these engines will deliver their power through a new 9-speed ZF automatic transmission. BMW will offer RWD as standard and AWD as optional. According to some our sources, there is also a possibility of a 12-cylinder option.

This model will be introduced in 2014 Frankfurt Motor Show, probably under a codename G11. However 2015 BMW 7 Series will not hit the market before end of 2014. The price is still unknown but we expect to be in the same range as current 7 Series. Current model goes from around 70.000 dollars to over 130.000 dollars, depending on equipment packages and engine choice.
