2015 Cadillac CTS

For the 2015 Cadillac CTS we expect just minor changes since this car was completely redesigned for previous model. It was at must, if Cadillac wanted to keep track with European vehicles. That included better engines and new exterior design. However, interior was always excellent for all Cadillac cars, but 2015 CTS will feature updated electronics and infotainment features. With redesign last year and slight modifications for 2015 model year, we expect the CTS to compete with other luxury sport sedans. Main competitors will be Audi A6, BMW 5-Series and E-class from Mercedes-Benz.

The 2015 Cadillac CTS will carry over two engine options from current model. Third generation of the vehicle was equipped with 2.0-l and 3.6-l options. First one, turbocharged four-cylinder drivetrain was able to produce 272 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque at 5500 rpm. Other one, the 3.6-l V6 can make 321 hp and 275 lb-ft. Six-speed auto gearbox will send power to the front or all wheels, which is on buyer’s choice. Estimated EPA fuel economy could top current model’s 20 mpg for city and 30 mpg for highway drive. Last option available for 2015 CTS will be 3.6-l Twin Turbo V6 RWD, which is performance end model of CTS for 2015. It will be able to deliver over 400 hp.

2015 Cadillac CTS redesign

There will be few design changes applied for the 2015 Cadillac CTS, so this mid-size luxury sedan will come refreshed. First of all, car will be slightly larger than its predecessor. Front fascia will be revisited, and black plastic radiator grille will be installed. It will have new design pattern with three horizontal bars on top instead of two, with, of course, chromed ending. New badge was seen in testing under heavy camouflage, without manufacturer’s traditional laurel wreath.

Chrome details on the lower end of vents will be polished and refreshed, so that will be most notable facelift actions on the 2015 Cadillac CTS. We expect new, refreshed CTS to come with same trim levels as its predecessor. There will be 6 trims available: Standard, Luxury, Performance, Premium, V-sport and V-sport Premium. However, many features will be also available to be purchased at buyer’s demand.
