This small van will be perfect if you have needs for taking limited amount of cargo from one point to another with small consumption and not big trouble handling it.
2015 Chevrolet Express concept
The 2015 Chevrolet Express is based on the car’s platform. Chevy Cruze is its relative and it will land its concept to the City Express van. This vehicle, with large interior will be perfect as delivery service’s vehicle or a taxi. It’s dimensions, 73.7 inches tall and 186.3 inches long makes it perfect for driving across the any city and parking, while 122.7 cubic feet of cargo space leaves enough room for towing many objects.
Efficiency is a word that best describes 2015 Express. It’s exterior look reminds on Nissan NV 200, but there are differences. These are mostly visible at the front and back ends. Similarities are not strange, since GM and Nissan have partnership in developing new models and improving current vehicles.
2015 Chevrolet Express engine
Cooperation between Nissan and GM lead to the situation where new 2015 Chevrolet Express will borrow an engine from Nissan NV 200. That will be 2.0-liter four-cylinder, 131 hp rated drivetrain. This engine will be paired with continuously variable transmission (CVT). This engine is probably biggest lack of this van. Producing just 131 hp, this engine is more suitable to some sedan, rather than a van full of cargo. Acceleration will also suffer, but that will make better fuel economy numbers. Nissan NV 200 combined mpg rate is 24. However, some rumors are telling that 2015 Chevrolet Express could have 2.0-l diesel option to improve power. But, this hasn’t been confirmed from the company yet.
