Chevrolet Sonic is a subcompact sedan/hatchback which was launched in 2011 as 2012 year model. It came as successor of Chevrolet Aveo, although this name is still used in some for some markets. The 2015 Chevrolet Sonic will come with some minimal changes, but it will basically be pretty much the same as 2014 year model, which came with some new features, compared to some previous models.
2015 Chevrolet Sonic redesign
As we said, 2015 Chevrolet Sonic comes with minimal changes. Visually, it will be pretty much identical as last year model. Those big headlamps and large grille will again be the main characteristic of this vehicle. Like previous models, it will be available in two body styles – 5-door hatchback and 4-door sedan. Although wheelbase is the same for both variants (around 99 inches), sedan is about 14 inches longer, which provides some additional trunk space. When it is about trunk space, it is worth to mention that 2015 Sonic has one of the largest trunks in class. Depending on trim level, wheels are in rage from 15 to 17 inches. By the way, trim levels are base LS, volume-selling LT, and top LTZ. Interior is also same as in last year model. There is nicely designed instrument table, which combines digital and analog instrumentation. In LT and LTZ trims, you will also find 7-inch display, which comes with Chevrolet’s MyLink connectivity system.
