2015 GMC Yukon XL
The 2015 GMC Yukon XL full-size SUV is here. It came not as a new vehicle, but redesigned from previous model. Fuel economy, new standard features with new equipment in optional packages and updated styling are changes for 2015 year model. Interior is revisited, but without major changes inside. So, 2015 Yukon XL will come with more aggressive, modern and aerodynamic look.
2015 GMC Yukon XL performance
Two drivetrains will be placed under the hood of the 2015 GMC Yukon XL. Rated at 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, base models will be packed with 5.3-l V8 engine. Denali models will get stronger, 6.2 V8 with outputs of 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. Six-speed automatic gearbox will transfer power to rear or all four wheels, depending on which model is driven. All-wheel 2015 Yukon XL will use a two-speed transfer case with low-range gearing. Maximum towing is set at 8300 lbs for RWD and 8000 for AWD models. Estimated fuel economy is 16 city and 23 mpg highway. AWD system uses more gasoline with 15/22 rate. AWD Denali model is biggest consumer with 14/20 rate.
2015 GMC Yukon XL trim levels
Total of three trim levels are available for 2015 GMC Yukon XL. Standard seating spots number is eight, but it is changeable for some trims. The 2015 Yukon XL SLE model has standard 18-inch wheels, foglights, rear parking sensors, three-zone automatic climate control and eight-way power front seats. GMC IntelliLink system is installed and Bose nine-speaker sound system with HD, satellite radio and Pandora Internet radio. There will be also some optional packages available to upgrade your 2015 Yukon XL SLE version.
The SLT is higher trim variation of new Yukon XL. This trim has Driver Alert and Convenience packages. It adds to the list of features keyless ignition and entry and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts. Top of the class Denali version has stronger engine, Sun, Entertainment and Destinations option package has a sunroof, navigation system and a rear-seat entertainment system in Denali Yukon XL models. In addition, there will be 20-inch wheels, xenon headlights and 8-inch touchscreen display.

Base model SLE of the 2015 GMC Yukon XL will cost around $45.000. Higher trim level means higher price of new Yukon XL, so SLT versions cost between $55.000 and $60.000 and Denali models over $63.000.
