2015 VW Beetle
It is hard to talk about VW Beetle without imagining old look of the car from 60’s. But, new 2015 Beetle is different. It is not anything spectacular, but many changes are applied to classic look of the vehicle. With turbo-diesel engine and retained 4-seater cabin, it will hit the market and make immediate impact. The end is not here, since German carmaker has prepared many trims and optional packages for 2015 Beetle, which will be available as hatchback or soft-top convertible body style.

Trim levels of 2015 VW Beetle are getting few engine choices. Old 2.5 trim is dropped, so new Beetle is now available in three levels: turbocharged 1.8T as base model, sporty R-Line and recently developed direct-injected Beetle TDI variant. New drivetrain is being prepared. It will be EA288 model, 2.0-liter inline 4 TDI powertrain capable to deliver 150 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with 6-speed shiftable automatic transmission. 1.8T models gets 1.8-liter turbocharged inline 4 engine with 170 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, paired with same transmission. Estimate MPG rates are 24/32 for city and highway drive. Sporty, R-Line of 2015 Beetle gets PZEV 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 engine, paired with either 6-speed manual or auto gearbox. Mileage is 23/31 with manual or 23/29 with automated transmission.

Depending on trim levels, there are various features inside 2015 VW Beetle. However, there are some mutual for all trims. And these are cruise control and a telescoping tilt-wheel steering, air conditioning with cabin air filtration and audio system containing CD player, 8 speakers, auxiliary iPod integration and Vee Dub’s touted Car-Net telecommunications.
