2016 Buick LaCrosse
Buick LaCrosse is a full-size luxury sedan produced by General Motors. When it was originally launched in 2004, it was a mid-size sedan and it came as replacement for Regal and Century models. Second generation came in 2009 and this model became full-size sedan and flagship model, since it replaced Buick Lucerne. According to information that we have, third generation will come as 2016 Buick LaCrosse. New model will get new exciting exterior and interior design and also new engine line-up.
2016 Buick LaCrosse redesign
The 2016 Buick LaCrosse will come with all-new look and it is expected that many solutions will be implemented from Elmiraj concept. It is expected that new model will use Omega II, which allows some increase so you shouldn’t be surprised if new model come slightly bigger than the current one. New Buick LaCrosse will get new more modern look and the main differences will be on the front fascia. Headlights, grille and bumper will be redesigned in order to give much more attractive and aggressive look so expect to see even more stylish look on the new model. Interior of 2016 LaCrosse isn’t still completely known but from what we have seen on the pictures, it will be very stylish, full of hi-tech features and extremely comfortable for sure.
2016 Buick LaCrosse engine
The 2016 Buick LaCrosse will use 3.6 liter LF3 Twin Turbo V-6 engine. This engine produces 420 horses and 430 lb-ft of torque, so great performances are guaranteed. We also expect to see this model in hybrid variant. The 2016 LaCrosse hybrid will be powered with 2.4 liter EcoTec, which outputs 182 horsepower and some electric motors. The output of this total system is still unknown. It is also unknown will this model get new transmission or will it be equipped with the current 6-speed automatic gearbox.
2016 Buick LaCrosse release date
Although it is still early to predict when 2016 Buick LaCrosse will be presented and launched, some enthusiasts say that the presentation will be by the end of 2015. However, serial production is not expected before the spring of 2016.
