2016 Cadillac CT6
This luxury car maker from Detroit plans to introduce an all-new model. It will be a full-size luxury sedan, which will be a company’s new flagship model. This model is planned to compete luxury sedans like Mercedes Benz S-class, BMW 7 Series, Audi A8, Lexus LS etc. According to information that we have, new model will adopt many solutions from European and Japanese models, which means that it won’t be characterized only by power and luxury, but also with many advanced technologies installed. It will come in late 2015 as 2016 Cadillac CT6.
2016 Cadillac CT6 redesign
The testing mule has been spotted and, although it wears a camouflage, some of design solutions are very noticeable. The 2016 Cadillac CT6 will adopt the design language from smaller CTS and ATS models. However it will be larger, so expect to see much longer hood, wider trunk and much of glass area. New model will get all-new platform, which will provide not only longer wheelbase and more space, but also new driving experience with easier handling and better comfort. The interior of 2016 CT6 will be totally in Cadillac’s manner, so expect to see plenty of leather, wood and aluminum details. Beside stylish look, cabin will also be extremely spacious and full of hi-tech features, so comfort will be in highest possible level.
2016 Cadillac CT6 engine
The 2016 Cadillac CT6 will be offered with two engines at least. The base variant will probably be the same V6 engine that can be found under the good of CTS Vsport, which outputs around 420 horses. Beside this engine, we expect to see new model in V8 cylinder variant, which is considered almost as requirement for this class of vehicles. It is expected new Cadillac CT6 to get some all-new small block V8 engine, which will be able to output over at least 500 horses.
2016 Cadillac CT6 release date, price and competition
The 2016 Cadillac CT6 is expected to come in the fall of 2015. Price is still unknown, but it is expected that base model will go around 75.000 dollars. Competitors will be a full-size sedans from manufacturers like Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Lexus etc.
