2016 Chevy Colorado Diesel
This compact truck was originally launched in 2004 alongside with its counterpart GMC Canyon. They came as replacement of the Chevrolet S-10 and GMC Sonoma compact pickups. The current model belongs to the second generation of this truck, which is present from 2012, and it seems that 2016 model will be too. However, that doesn’t mean that new model will come without novelties. Outside and inside changes are maybe small, but there is a big thing under the hood. Chevrolet Colorado will be available both as petrol and as diesel model.

The 2016 Chevy Colorado Diesel will have pretty much the same design as standard petrol models. It will be reliable, durable, with excellent performances. It will have the same classic look and it will be designed to overcome almost every terrain and weather conditions. It will be available in extended cab and crew cab body styles, both capable to accommodate five passengers. However, 2016 Chevy Colorado Diesel will have some new features like 17-inch alloy wheels, new corner steps, a two tire loading system, 13 tie-down locations, EZ lift, a spray in bed liner and lower tailgate. There will be three trim levels – W/T (Work truck), LT and Z/71.

Well, this is the main thing about new model. Just like previous year model, 2016 Chevy Colorado Diesel will use 2.8 liter Duramax engine which delivers around 200 horses and 368 lb-ft. This engine is characterized by excellent performances. It is more advanced than petrol engines so you can also expect way better fuel economy. By the way, petrol variants are 2.5 liter four-cylinder which makes 193 horses and 184 lb-ft and 3.6 V6 with 302 hp and 270 lb-ft. Transmission is 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual.

The exact date of 2016 Colorado Diesel is still unknown. However, new model will not come before second half of next year. When it is about price, it is clear that 2016 Chevy Colorado Diesel will cost more than petrol variants, but difference in price is still unknown.
