2016 Lexus RX redesign

This crossover is by far the best-selling Lexus model in the U.S. so it is for sure that Toyota engineers work on this model with special attention. The 2016 Lexus RX will continue to share platform with models like Camry, Highlander etc. New model will be characterized by massive use of aluminum parts, so big weight drop is expected. When it is about outside look, it is still hard to say something more since testing model is still completely camouflaged. However, we noticed through camouflage that 2016 RX will have front fascia which includes an edgier grille with more vertical slats, similar to NX model. Side of the car will be characterize by more dramatic lines, while rear of the car will feature bold spoiler, just like current model. We also have information that new model will be available with three rows of seats, along with standard five-seat model.
