If some car from Nissan factory has its rich history, that is Altima. Now over 30 years ago, car was presented as Nissan Bluebird successor, and since first, 1993 year model, Altima has been growing and became one of the most favorite models from Japanese carmaker factory. It is not confirmed yet, but some rumors tell that Nissan will drop classic look for 2016 Altima. What and how many changes are about to be applied, we must wait to see. For interior, designers had more freedom to experiment. So it will be with 2016 Nissan Altima. Futuristic styling with lot of space will be highlight of mid-size sedan. Comfortable seats, room for five passengers, enough space for leg, as well as head-room, are basic of interior for 2016 Nissan Altima. Still no information about which technologies and features will be used, but we assume all latest systems will be integrated in Nissan Altima 2016, with USB ports, navigation, audio and safety systems.

New engine lineup is expected for 2016 Nissan Altima. However, it is not impossible that lineup from 2015 year model could be carried over. That means, 2016 Altima will get 2.5-l 4-cylinder as base drivetrain, and 3.5-l V6 for higher end models. Numbers from previous model should be boosted. Current models has 182 hp output with 2.4-l, and 270 hp with V6. Sprint 0-60 mph is expected to be dropped under 7 seconds.

Although many changes are announced, price shouldn’t go up for too much for 2016 Nissan Altima. Current model costs from just over $22.000, and do not expect large raise for new Altima. Release is to happen somewhere during 2015, probably in mid-year.
