2016 VW Jetta
The Jetta is a compact car produced by Volkswagen, which was originally introduced in 1979. This car, which is often considered as sedan version of Golf because original model was created by adding a conventional trunk to this legendary hatchback, made through six generations so far. Current model was launched in 2010 and by the April 2014, it reached number of 14 million units sold. According to the latest information, we are going to see a next-generation model very soon. Just like the current model, 2016 VW Jetta will be powered with a 2.0 liter 8-valve four-cylinder engine with 115 horsepower and 125 lb·ft of torque. However, the most attractive variant is definitely one that includes recently-introduced 1.8 liter TSI turbo-charged 4 cylinder engine. which is considered as of the best units in class. This engine outputs 170 hp and 184 lb-ft of max torque, while fuel consumption is around 25 MPG city / 36 MPG highway.
2016 VW Jetta release date and price
The 2016 VW Jetta is expected to come by the end of the year. Price is expected to remain pretty much the same, which means around 35.000 dollars for the base model. Some of the hardest competitors are models like Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla and Chevrolet Cruze.
