The 2014 Volvo T6 has a more powerful engine. The T6 R-Design model pumps up the T6 with extra power, a sport-tuned suspension, 20-inch wheels, special exterior and interior trim, a sport steering wheel and sport seats. Premier Plus packages includes features such are a power liftgate, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, a cargo cover. There are also few more packages which could be added: Sport, Climate or Tech package.
Volvo XC60 2014 engine
The new 2014 Volvo XC60 base model comes with a 3.2-liter inline six-cylinder engine that produces 240 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. A six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive are standard. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 11 l/100km. The 2014 Volvo XC60 T6 gets a 3.0-liter turbocharged for 300 hp and 440 Nm of torque. The T6 R-Design gets a more powerful version of this engine good for 325 hp and 480 Nm of torque. It sprints up to 100 km/h in 6.2 sec. Also, this vehicle came to a stop from that speed in 36 meters.

Every 2014 Volvo XC60 comes standard with antilock brakes, traction and stability control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags and whiplash-preventing front seats. An upgraded pedestrian detection feature is included in the Technology package, with few more safety features such as electronic warnings for driver inattention, lane departure and impending collision. In government crash tests, Volvo XC60 2014 received a perfect five stars for overall crash protection, with five stars for both overall frontal impact and side crash protection. The IIHS rated the XC60’s optional frontal collision warning and mitigation system as the best score of “Superior.”
